Regular Season Round 20: CAO Ceres - San Isidro 112-83

There was a small surprise when first ranked CAO Ceres (11-2) outscored at home their close opponent San Isidro (10-6) 112-83 on Monday. CAO Ceres dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to San Isidro's 42. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. CAO Ceres looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Matias Martinez (195-94) who scored 32 points and 7 assists. Pablo Martinez (197-82) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!). Point guard Milton Vittar (185-91) produced 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Jose Montero (193-95) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Five CAO Ceres and four San Isidro players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CAO Ceres have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-2 record which they share with defeated San Isidro. Loser San Isidro still keeps top place with six games lost. CAO Ceres will meet Villa S.Martin (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. San Isidro will play against Echague and hope to secure a win.
