The game between Top Four teams took place in Mercedes. Leader host Comunicaciones (9-0) smashed 4th placed Instituto (6-3) 91-71. They outrebounded Instituto 50-34 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Comunicaciones players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Instituto's players. It was an exceptional evening for Santiago Barrales (189-98) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds. Swingman Matias Nunez (191-99) accounted for 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Four Comunicaciones players scored in double figures. Comunicaciones' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Juan Frontera came up with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Kadir Suarez added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Instituto in the defeat. Comunicaciones have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-0 record. Instituto at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Comunicaciones will play against Ferro (#11) in Buenos Aires in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Instituto will play at home against Argentino (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
