There was no surprise in Buenos Aires where 18th ranked Platense (1-6) was defeated by thirteenth ranked Ferro (4-5) 72-54 on Tuesday. Ferro outrebounded Platense 47-30 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Joaquin Lo Brutto fired 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Felipe Rodriguez chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Ferro players scored in double figures. Giuliano Michelangei produced 12 points and Tiago Coll added 11 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ferro moved-up to eleventh place. Platense lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighteenth position with six games lost. They share it with H.Americano. Ferro will meet league's leader Comunicaciones in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Platense will play against Union (#6) in Santa Fe and hope to win that game.
