Anzoategui held off Caribenas to take the lead in the championship series. Anzoategui outrebounded Caribenas 49-37 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international guard Waleska Perez (180-94, college: Weatherford JC) fired a triple-double by scoring 30 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists and 6 steals for the winners. The former international Yosimar Corrales (184-90) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Eduglatriz Castro produced 14 points and 8 rebounds and Ignali Blanco added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Caribenas players scored in double figures. Caribenas' coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help.
