Platense has finally registered their first victory this season after seven consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat La Union (2-7) 79-75 on Friday. Platense forced 20 La Union turnovers. Felipe Pais (183-90) fired 21 points for the winners. Swingman Lucas Goldenberg (190-93) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Zac Cuthbertson (201-96, college: Coastal) produced 22 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Nicolas Ferreyra (181-85) added 19 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side.
