Regular Season Round 9: Puerto Varas - Ancud 77-91

Undefeated Puerto Varas (7-1) recorded its first loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Ancud (5-4) 91-77. They made 27-of-34 free shots (79.4 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Puerto Varas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American Tirrell Brown (198-93, college: OBU) who scored 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Forward Ricardo Armijo (194-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international center Juan Fontena (196-87) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and the former international guard Franco Morales (179-92) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively.
