Finals Game 3: Aguila - San Salvador 73-101

San Salvador clinched Liga MB title. They topped Aguila to complete the sweep of the championship series. San Salvador had a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Puerto Rican power forward Owens Perez (206-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds. Cuban Lisvan Valdez (196-88) helped adding 30 points and 5 assists (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was Cuban Oreste Torres (204-87) with 30 points and Puerto Rican guard Victor Carattini (185-92, college: PR-Bayamon) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
