FAS stormed past L.M.Mons 2 to celebrate Liga Mayor title. FAS held L.M.Mons. 2 to an opponent 20.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.1 percent accuracy of the winners. FAS forced 23 L.M.Mons. 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 72-34 including a 26-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was naturalized American Emily Tevez (175-93, college: NDN) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 18 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Silvia Vega (176-3) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Tevez is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four FAS players scored in double figures. FAS's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Monica Aristondo (163-92) produced 17 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Sofia Alfaro (152-3) added 11 points respectively for the hosts.
