A very close game took place in Villa Maria between Ameghino and Barrio Parque. Third ranked Ameghino (9-9) got a very close home victory over second-ranked Barrio Parque (13-5). Ameghino managed to escape with a 2-point win 70-68 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Barrio Parque. It was a great evening for power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (200-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Emiliano Lezcano (187-1) helped adding 6 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Ameghino's coach Pablo Castro used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Bernardo Ossela (195-94) responded with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Andres Landoni (203-90) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Ameghino moved-up to second place, which they share with Ciclista and Villa Mitre. Loser Barrio Parque keeps the second position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
