The game between closely ranked teams ended with second-ranked Independiente's (8-8) road loss to first ranked CAO Ceres (12-3) 69-88 on Sunday. CAO Ceres dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Independiente's 30. They outrebounded Independiente 43-32 including 34 on the defensive glass. Independiente will play against the league's second-placed Villa S.Martin in Resistencia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
