The game between closely ranked teams ended with second ranked Racing's (12-6) home victory over 3rd placed Lanus (10-8) 83-74 on Monday. Racing dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Lanus' 28. It was a great evening for point guard Alejo Barrales (174-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 8 assists. Joaquin Gamazo (198-91) helped adding 19 points and 10 rebounds. Four Racing players scored in double figures. Point guard Pablo Bruna (185-87) responded with 14 points and 6 assists and forward Martin Franchino (201-93) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Racing keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Estudiantes C. and San Isidro. Newly promoted Lanus still keeps top place with eight games lost. They share the position with GELP and Salta Basket. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
