LUB top team - Goes (10-1) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat twelfth ranked O.Mundial (2-9) in Montevideo 81-67. Goes looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Joaquin Osimani (193-87) who scored 20 points. Venezuelan center Nestor Colmenares (200-87, college: Campbellsville) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Goes players scored in double figures. American forward Anthony Danridge (196-86, college: N.Mexico) produced 17 points and forward Christian Pereira (194-93) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Goes have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-1 record, which they share with Bigua. O.Mundial lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth place with nine games lost.
