Regular Season Round 11: Bulldogs - L.M.Mons. 128-25

Bottom-ranked L.M.Mons. is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to fourth ranked Bulldogs (7-2) 128-25 on Saturday evening. Bulldogs held L.M.Mons. to an opponent 18.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 51.1 percent accuracy of the winners and had 34 for 54 from the free-throw line, while L.M.Mons. only scored five points from the stripe. Bulldogs forced 54 L.M.Mons. turnovers and outrebounded them 56-35 including a 26-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by L.M.Mons.'s players. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Andrea Batres (170-93) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 14 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals. Valeria Castro (170-1) accounted for 30 points, 11 rebounds, 14 assists and 11 steals for the winning side. Five Bulldogs players scored in double figures. Point guard Karen Guevara (163-88) came up with 5 points and 7 rebounds and Karen Munos added 5 points and 7 rebounds respectively for L.M.Mons. in the defeat. Bulldogs moved-up to third place, which they share with Teclenas and Sivar. L.M.Mons. lost their tenth game in a row. They still close the standings with ten games lost. Bulldogs will meet at home Quequeisque (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. L.M.Mons. will have a break next round.
