Regular Season Round 27: Villa Mitre - Quilmes MP 84-69

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifteenth ranked Villa Mitre (1-4) beat 14th ranked Quilmes MP (1-6) in Bahia Blanca 84-69 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Jose Gutierrez (185-87, agency: BIG) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 8 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Center Juan Javier Bollo (203-92) accounted for 19 points for the winning side. Villa Mitre's coach Lisandro De Tomasi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Chilean guard Cristopher Jara (-0) came up with 19 points and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and forward Alex Negrete (192-1) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Quilmes MP in the defeat. Four Quilmes MP players scored in double figures. Villa Mitre left bottom position moving up to twelfth place, which they share with Dep Norte. Loser Quilmes MP dropped to the fifteenth position with six games lost.
