The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Union's (10-9) road loss to fifth ranked Obera (11-5) 75-86. Obera dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Union's 42. Obera forced 19 Union turnovers. Point guard Santiago Konaszuk (188-99) notched 24 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and guard Francisco Tarnowyk (192-1) supported him with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Obera's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 13 points and 7 rebounds by Jeronimo Muller (183-2) did not help to save the game for Union. Ignacio Marchetti (-3) added 13 points and 7 assists for the guests. Four Obera and five Union players scored in double figures. Obera moved-up to third place, which they share with Regatas. Union at the other side dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. Obera will play against San Lorenzo (#14) in Almagra in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Union will play on the road against the league's leader Comunicaciones (#1) in Mercedes and hopes to get back on the winning track.
