Regular Season Round 15: Comunicaciones - Union 90-71

Leader Comunicaciones delivered the fourteenth victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked Union (10-10) 90-71 in Mercedes. They outrebounded Union 47-31 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Comunicaciones players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for guard Francisco Llanos (182-2) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Power forward Lucas Mercadino (204-3) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Comunicaciones' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Santiago Miniello answered with 14 points and 5 assists and Lorenzo Micheloni (195-1) added 6 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Union. Five Comunicaciones and four Union players scored in double figures. Comunicaciones have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-1 record. Union at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. Comunicaciones will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Union will play at home against Argentino (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
