La Liga Argentina top team - Independ.O. (8-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Echague (1-8) in Parana 90-75. Independ.O. players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Guard Lucio Reinaudi (185-95) scored 19 points, 8 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Salvador Giletto (195-93) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Canadian center Christian Rohlehr (206, college: SFC) with 26 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Matias Stival (184-94) scored 19 points and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Independ.O. have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Newly promoted Independ.O. maintains first position with 8-0 record. Echague lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with eight games lost. Independ.O. will play against Colon SF (#14) in Santa Fe in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Echague will play at home against Jachal and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
