Regular Season Round 32: Zarate Basket - Parque Sur 73-67

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Parque Sur (3-4) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Zarate Basket (6-3) 73-67 on Friday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Zarate Basket outrebounded Parque Sur 39-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Agustin Brocal (191-97) who scored 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Lucas Andujar (185-96) chipped in 8 points and 8 rebounds. Guillermo Romero (198-95) produced 14 points and swingman Elnes Bolling (193-91) added 11 points respectively for the guests. Four Parque Sur players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Zarate Basket maintains fourth position with 6-3 record, which they share with Barrio Parque. Parque Sur lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with four games lost. They share the position with GELP. Zarate Basket will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Parque Sur will play against Lanus (#13) in Buenos Aires and hope to secure a win.
