Regular Season Round 32: Colon SF - Jachal 61-64

Jachal has finally registered their first victory this season after nine consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Santa Fe, where they edged Colon SF (0-8) 64-61 on Friday. The best player for the winners was Cuban swingman Neysser Coutin (192-96) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Ismael Sarruff chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Four Jachal players scored in double figures. Forward Ignacio Zulberti (200-96) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Gregorio Eseverri (194-86) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Colon SF's coach Ricardo De Cecco rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Jachal (1-9) left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place. It was Colon SF's eighth loss in a row. Colon SF at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with eight games lost. Jachal will meet league's second-placed Villa S.Martin in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Colon SF will have a break next round.
