Important game to mention about took place in Corrientes. Third ranked San Martin (14-4) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Regatas (11-7) 80-79 on Sunday evening. Franco Mendez (188-2) nailed a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Rolando Vallejos (195-0) accounted for 18 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Tobias Franchela (185-1) came up with 25 points and 4 assists and center Joaquin Marcon (203-1) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Regatas in the defeat. San Martin moved-up to second place. Regatas lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
