No shocking result in a game in Bahia Blanca where sixth ranked Racing (8-6) defeated 13th ranked Bahia (4-10) 87-79 on Tuesday. Racing dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Bahia's 18. They outrebounded Bahia 41-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Adriano Maretto (189-99, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Joaquin Gamazo (198-91) who added 23 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side swingman Joaquin Sanchez (188-98) responded with 21 points and point guard Ezequiel Paz (190-1, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Bahia's coach Laura Cors tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Racing moved-up to fourth place. Bahia lost sixth consecutive game.
