The game in Corrientes was also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Boca Jrs (17-2) played at the court of 6th ranked Regatas (13-9). Boca Jrs managed to secure a 5-point victory 81-76. Strangely Regatas outrebounded Boca Jrs 48-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for Manuel Rodriguez (203-2) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Swingman Juan Guerrero (194-3) helped adding 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Boca Jrs players scored in double figures. Point guard Tobias Franchela (185-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Juan Scacchi (186-1) scored 20 points. Regatas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Boca Jrs. They maintain fourth place with 17-2 record. Regatas at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Boca Jrs will play against league's second-placed San Martin in Corrientes in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Regatas will play at home against Union (#12) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
