There was no surprise in Cordoba where 6th ranked Villa S.Martin (8-6) was defeated by fourth ranked Barrio Parque (10-5) 86-82. Barrio Parque players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Federico Pedano (194-0) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Andres Landoni (203-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Barrio Parque players scored in double figures. Point guard Santiago Luduena (176-93) answered with 26 points and American forward Treshaad Williams (196-93, college: Morehead St.) added 13 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) in the effort for Villa S.Martin. Barrio Parque have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Ciclista and Dep Viedma. Villa S.Martin at the other side dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. They share it with Pergamino. Barrio Parque will play against Echague (#14) in Parana in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Villa S.Martin will play on the road against the league's leader Independ.O. (#1) in Olivia and hopes to get back on the winning track.
