Not a big story in a game in Buenos Aires where 14th ranked Argentino (9-12) was defeated by eighth ranked Ferro (14-12) 78-64 on Tuesday. Ferro outrebounded Argentino 45-33 including a 40-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was guard Santiago Mazza (182-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 rebounds. Thomas Gonzalez chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Santiago Capelli (180-2005) who recorded 15 points and 8 assists and guard Augusto Gennero (188-2003) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four Argentino players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Ferro have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Loser Argentino keeps the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with La Union.
