Very expected game in Chivilcoy where 12th ranked Parque Sur (5-9) was rolled over by seventh ranked Racing (9-7) 100-77 on Wednesday. Racing dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Parque Sur's 24. They outrebounded Parque Sur 41-20 including a 14-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. Racing looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Parque Sur's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Joaquin Gamazo (198-1991) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Ricardo Fernandez (190-1996) who added 21 points and 5 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Point guard Valentin Lofrano (176-1999) responded with 17 points and 6 assists and Guillermo Romero (198-1995) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Five Racing and four Parque Sur players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Racing moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Villa S.Martin and Villa Mitre. Parque Sur lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
