There was no surprise in Cordoba where 14th ranked Echague (2-15) was crushed by fourth ranked Barrio Parque (11-5) 103-83 on Wednesday. Barrio Parque outrebounded Echague 37-26 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Lautaro Rivata (190-1987) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Bernardo Ossela (195-1994) who added 20 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. Guard Federico Gonzalez (183-1988) responded with 13 points and 6 assists and forward Rodrigo Riquelme (192-1992) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Barrio Parque and five Echague players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Barrio Parque have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Ciclista. Echague lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with 15 games lost. Barrio Parque will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Echague will play against the league's leader Independ.O. (#1) in Olivia and hope to secure a win.
