Regular Season Round 24: O.Mundial - Aguada 69-91
Date: February 18, 2022
No shocking result in a game in Montevideo where fourth ranked Aguada (14-6) smashed 10th ranked O.Mundial (7-13) 91-69 on Friday. They outrebounded O.Mundial 41-25 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Tyreek Duren (183-1991, college: La Salle) who helped to win the game recording 24 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and Argentinian Marcos Mata (202-1986) who added 13 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Aguada players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Anthony Danridge (196-1986, college: N.Mexico) with 15 points and Brazilian center Pedro Ianguas (210-1998) scored 6 points and 11 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aguada have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 14-6 record. Newly promoted O.Mundial keeps the tenth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Defensor and Hebraica.
