Regular Season Round 1: Halcones - Amatitlan 79-53

An interesting game for Halcones which hosted in Amatitlan. Halcones had an easy win 79-53. Halcones forced 19 Amatitlan turnovers. The former international swingman Miguel Gonzalez (187-1990) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds for the winning side and Hector Chur (-1999) accounted for 27 points and 5 rebounds. Luis Arias (-1998) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and Dilan Castillo (-2003) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Amatitlan in the defeat. Four Amatitlan players scored in double figures. Amatitlan's coach already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Halcones will meet Forza in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Amatitlan will play against Villa Nueva Jrs and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
