Regular Season Round 1: Maringa - Brusque 59-82

Very predictable result when Brusque rolled over on the road Maringa 82-59 on Friday. Brusque forced 20 Maringa turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. Gabriel Vargas (194-1998) nailed 19 points for the winning side and forward Durval Prado (200-1992) accounted for 7 points and 8 rebounds. Four Brusque players scored in double figures. Brusque's coach Marcio Andrade felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Jamison Costa (199-2000) came up with 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Mateus Diniz (193-2001) added 21 points respectively for Maringa in the defeat.
