Sixth-ranked Los Pepines (0-6) made lots of trouble for leader Immortals (6-0) on Saturday. The visitors managed to secure only two-point victory 101-99. However their fans expected much easier game. Immortals looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Oliver Garcia (188-1996, agency: Ballerz Unlimited LLC) who scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Dwight Gentry (183-1987, college: UT Arlington) chipped in 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Gentry is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Richard Polanco (203-1998) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Edwin Espinal (200-1993) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Los Pepines' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Immortals have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Los Pepines at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost.
