San Marcos toppled Bulldogs to even the series at 1-1. San Marcos held Bulldogs to an opponent 20.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Bulldogs 54-35 including a 42-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. San Marcos looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Bulldogs' players. The best player for the winners was Alicia Abarca (165-1997) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Amalia Velasquez (160-1993) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Andrea Batres (170-1993) produced 6 points and 6 rebounds and Valeria Castro (170-2001) added 8 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
