Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Sao Paulo (17-7) outplayed at home 16th ranked U.Corinthians (7-16) 98-71 on Friday. They outrebounded U.Corinthians 45-30 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sao Paulo looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international Bruno Caboclo (206-1995) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and the former international forward Marquinhos Vieira (207-1984) accounted for 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
