Regular Season Round 4: Ferro - Rocamora 40-41

Bottom-ranked Ferro (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 41-40 loss to fourth ranked Rocamora (2-2) in Olavarria. They held Ferro to an opponent 20.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 28.8 percent accuracy of the winners. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Uruguayan power forward Sabrina Scevola (178-1992) who helped to win the game recording 9 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Antonella Gonzalez (155-1990) contributed with 7 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Martina Rodriguez Bire (168-1999) replied with 9 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Sofia Paoli (178-1996) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ferro. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Rocamora went down to fifth position due to points difference, which they share with Riachuelo LR. Ferro at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Catamarca. Rocamora will play against league's second-placed Berazategui in Buenos Aires in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ferro will play at home against Obras (#4) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
