The game between ninth ranked Puerto Montt (4-4) and 10th ranked Tinguiririca (3-6) in Puerto Montt on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Puerto Montt outscored guests from San Fernando 95-66. Puerto Montt made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Puerto Montt outrebounded Tinguiririca 51-36 including 36 on the defensive glass. Guard Matias Sepulveda (-1995) added 15 points and 5 rebounds. Five Puerto Montt and four Tinguiririca players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Puerto Montt moved-up to seventh place. Newly promoted Tinguiririca keeps the tenth position with six games lost. Puerto Montt will meet at home league's leader Puente Alto in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Tinguiririca will play against Universidad Catolica (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
