Regular Season Round 3: Praia - Basquete Santos 95-80

Praia used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from 95-80 on Sunday night. It was a great shooting night for Praia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Praia made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for Joao Mamedes (201-1998) who led his team to a victory scoring 30 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Gabriel Cunha (188-2000) helped adding 18 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Luizinho Lima (196-1993) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Jefferson Campos (188-1991) scored 16 points.
