Bottom-ranked Ferro (0-5) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to ninth ranked Catamarca (2-4) 58-37. Catamarca held Ferro to an opponent 21.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.8 percent accuracy of the winners. It was an exceptional evening for Andrea Rebola who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Maria Acevedo accounted for 21 points for the winning side. Forward Tamara Pinto (183-1999) came up with 13 points and 6 rebounds and guard Martina Rodriguez Bire (168-1999) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Ferro in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Catamarca moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Rocamora. Ferro lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Catamarca will play against higher ranked Los Indios (#7) in Moreno in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ferro will play on the road against Quimsa in Santiado del Estero and hopes to get finally their first victory.
