Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Maringa (2-7) was defeated at home by second ranked Tatui/AABT (6-3) 65-53 on Wednesday. Tatui/AABT looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward William Drudi (206-1981) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Felipe Taddei (192-1992) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. Tatui/AABT's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Weverton Holanda (203-1994) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and guard Mateus Diniz (193-2001) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Tatui/AABT have a solid series of four victories in a row. Despite that victory Tatui/AABT went down to third position due to points difference.
