The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Comunicaciones (27-4) in Buenos Aires on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by fourth ranked Boca Jrs (23-4) 88-46. Boca Jrs outrebounded Comunicaciones 48-36 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Swingman Juan Guerrero (194-2003) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Juan Contegrand (190-2002) contributed with 21 points and 4 steals for the winners. Four Boca Jrs players scored in double figures.
