Not a big story in a game in Jalisco where 4th ranked Escaramuzas (6-4) were rolled over by top-ranked Mieleras (12-0) 87-62 on Sunday. Mieleras dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Escaramuzas' 30. Mieleras forced 21 Escaramuzas turnovers. The best player for the winners was American forward Destiny Campbell (185, college: ECU) who scored 28 points and 7 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). The former international guard Brisa Silva (170-1984, college: OK State) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Erika Gutierrez who recorded 10 points and Italivy Ramos added 8 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mieleras have an impressive 12-game winning streak.
