Everything went according to plan in Junin where sixth ranked Regatas (25-11) outscored 16th ranked Argentino (13-23) 92-49 on Thursday. Regatas held Argentino to an opponent 24.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 57.6 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Argentino 49-30 including a 41-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Regatas looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Argentino's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Regatas made 9 blocks.
