There was no surprise in Cordoba where 18th ranked Gimnasia CR (5-32) was crushed by fifth ranked Instituto (26-11) 100-77 on Friday. Instituto dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Gimnasia CR's 20. Instituto forced 22 Gimnasia CR turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for Juan Tulian (196-2000) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Lautaro Urquiza (177-2001) helped adding 10 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Instituto players scored in double figures.
