Sao Paulo have been crowned the BCL Americas champions. The game was mostly controlled by Sao Paulo. Bigua managed to win fourth quarter 24-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sao Paulo shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sao Paulo made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Bruno Caboclo (206-1995) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Elinho Corazza (192-1989, college: Miami Dade CC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 assists for the winners. Guard Santiago Vidal (180-1989, agency: Pro Sports) answered with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and American Victor Rudd (206-1991, college: S.Florida) added 20 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Bigua. Five Sao Paulo and four Bigua players scored in double figures. Bigua's coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
