There was an upset in Santa Fe where higher ranked Penarol (18-19) was defeated by fifteenth ranked Union (16-25) 86-81 on Sunday. Union outrebounded Penarol 43-31 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Union especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Matias Fleury (-2001) who scored 7 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Santiago Miniello chipped in 17 points and 7 assists. Four Union players scored in double figures. Union's coach used entire bench in such tough game. Guard Facundo Tolosa (190-2002) produced 40 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and Ignacio Bednarek (206-2001) added 17 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks respectively for the guests. Union moved-up to thirteenth place. Loser Penarol keeps the eleventh position with 19 games lost.
