Not a big story in a game when 6th ranked Venados (7-9) were defeated on the road by fourth ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (9-7) 85-80 on Sunday. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Germain Jordan (198-1986, college: Dillard) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds and guard Jarvis Summers (190-1993, college: Ole Miss, agency: Haylett Sports) who added 16 points during the contest. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon's coach Ariel Rearte used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Marlon Stewart (190-1997, college: N.Dakota) responded with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Joshua Ramirez (198-1994, college: Dominican, CA) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Halcones de Ciudad Obregon and four Venados players scored in double figures. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon maintains fourth position with 9-7 record. Loser Venados keep the sixth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Guaymas.
