Regular Season Round 2: Aguada - Remeros 86-65

Very expected game when Remeros were crushed on the road by Aguada 86-65 on Saturday. Aguada forced 25 Remeros turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Daniela Tovagliari (170-1989) who scored 30 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Joaquina Gregorio (168-2001) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Aguada's coach Nicolas Altalef felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Pia Moyano (170-1995) produced 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and center Melina Zapata (180-1989) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Remeros players scored in double figures. Aguada will meet Paysandu on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Remeros will play against Yale and hope to win that game.
