Regular Season Round 2: Luis ML - Sergio Ceppi 39-111

There was a small surprise in Santiago where Sergio Ceppi outleveled Luis ML 111-39 on Wednesday. Sergio Ceppi dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Luis ML's 28. Sergio Ceppi forced 45 Luis ML turnovers and had a 21-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Luis ML's players. Macarena Retamales (-2001) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American-Puerto Rican Jazmin Sepulveda (178-1985, college: S.Florida) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Sergio Ceppi players scored in double figures. Carla Paredez responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and Catalina Aguilera scored 6 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
