The game between Top Four teams took place in Monterrey. Second ranked host Fuerza Regia (5-2) smashed 4th ranked Plateras (1-6) 95-66. Fuerza Regia looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Plateras' players. The best player for the winners was American center Khaalia Hillsman (197-1996, college: Texas A&M) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. The other American import guard Alexis Jones (175-1994, college: Baylor) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Kamilah Jackson (183-1992, college: Hawaii) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and Canadian guard Faatimah Amen-Ra (163-1991, college: Toronto) added 18 points respectively. Five Fuerza Regia and four Plateras players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fuerza Regia have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Panteras. Plateras lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with six games lost. Fuerza Regia will meet at home Halcones (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Plateras will play against the league's leader Adelitas in Chihuahua and hope to win that game.
