Regular Season Round 3: Brisas - Sergio Ceppi 45-73

Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Santiago: Sergio Ceppi (#2) and Brisas (#6). Brisas were crushed at home by 28 points 45-73 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Sergio Ceppi outrebounded Brisas 51-32 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Macarena Retamales (-2001) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. The former international Florencia Colossi (168-1998) helped adding 12 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Sergio Ceppi players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Javiera Morales (178-1992) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and guard Rocio Dieguez (-1992) scored 12 points and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
