There was no surprise when 8th ranked Monjitas BTC (1-10) was crushed at home by fourth ranked Amatitlan (6-6) 90-55 on Tuesday. Amatitlan forced 21 Monjitas BTC turnovers. Dilan Castillo (-2003) scored 28 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Diego Munos chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Enzo Castro responded with 18 points and Carlos Gonzalez scored 9 points and 12 rebounds. Amatitlan maintains fourth position with 6-6 record. Monjitas BTC lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Amatitlan will meet higher ranked Forza (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Monjitas BTC will play against the league's leader Halcones (#1) and hope to win that game.
