There was no surprise when Marlins were crushed on the road by FAS 82-31 on Saturday. FAS held Marlins to an opponent 20.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.4 percent accuracy of the winners. FAS forced 35 Marlins turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Marlins' players. Center Silvia Vega (176-2003) had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Fatima Barrera (163-2002) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Valeria Murcia responded with 7 points and 12 rebounds and Andrea De Leon scored 6 points and 5 rebounds. Marlins' coach gave up on the game allowing to play fourteen players seeing no chance for a win. FAS will meet at home Sivar in the next round. Marlins will play against Se7en and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
